Project overview

Lithos is an interactive visual concept for geological learning. The interface uses a sculpted strata landscape, editorial typography, and movement cues to turn scientific depth into an inviting experience.

The challenge

Geology can feel dense and diagram-heavy. The design needed to remain educational while creating immediate visual wonder.

Strategy & execution

  1. 01

Made layered terrain the primary navigation metaphor.

  2. 02

Balanced an expressive serif display with a restrained, high-contrast interface.

  3. 03

Used motion as an instruction: move to reveal: rather than surface decoration.

Results

  • A responsive, production-coded landing-page concept.
  • A memorable visual identity tied directly to the product subject.
  • A complete showcase video demonstrating the interaction and pacing.
